How to Ease Overwhelm Naturally

Sharing is caring!

Overwhelm seems to be my constant companion and I’m beyond ready for relief.

I’m not one who walks around full of anxiety, yet I’ve noticed lately that the knot in my stomach will not go away.

More and more clients are sharing that they too are feeling overwhelmed by all that is going on in their lives.

We may not be able to change what is going on around us, but we can protect ourselves from the effects that daily overwhelm, and anxiety will do to our health.

When you are living with daily overwhelm you may notice that you

  • are stressed, which causes digestive problems
  • are sad for no reason
  • more irritable
  • are not sleeping well
  • have joint pain
  • more aches and pains
  • suffer from emotional eating

These symptoms affect your kidneys and your adrenal glands, and not in a good way. When you are living in daily overwhelm, your adrenal glands become overworked and not able to function normally.  Daily overwhelm causes a vicious cycle between your adrenal glands and your ability to overcome your feelings of overwhelm, which can cause the symptoms listed above.

To end this vicious cycle, you will need to treat your kidneys with food that help restore your adrenal glands to their normal function and can help you feel less overwhelmed throughout the day.

To keep your kidneys functioning optimally, add the following to your diet:

  • tangerines
  • plums
  • grapes
  • grains such as amaranth, rye, oats, and barley
  • celery
  • asparagus
  • cabbage
  • black beans

If you are suffering from insomnia, night sweats, dry skin, eyes, and mouth, and brittle hair, add the following to your diet to help your kidneys return to normal function.

  • Carrots
  • Grapefruit
  • Celery
  • Cucumber
  • Blueberries
  • Soybeans,
  • Kidney beans
  • Watermelon
  • Chlorella supplement
  • Spirulina supplement

If you are suffering from digestive issues, lower back pain, fatigue, and feeling cold; especially in the morning, try to avoid any iced drinks, raw foods, and try to limit your fruit intake. Add the following foods to your diet to help your kidneys return to normal.

  • Cinnamon
  • Ginger
  • Cloves
  • Walnuts
  • Quinoa
  • black beans

In addition to changing your diet, you can relieve your daily overwhelm through meditation. There are many apps that you can use that will help you add meditation to your schedule. You’ll be pleased how a few minutes a day of meditation will help you clear your mind and transform your day.
