12 Holiday Festive Recipes for Your
Holiday Entertaining
Thanks for joining me this Holiday Season for some festive entertaining. I’ve pulled together 12 of my favorite Holiday Festive recipes to help you enjoy your holiday entertaining festivities. I’m busy and I know you’re busy and I’ve compiled these recipes with the busy woman in mind.
The Holidays are stressful enough without the added stress of coming up with recipes for all those Holiday gatherings you’re hosting or being invited to. We’ve all been there, we get invited at the last minute to an event and are asked to bring a dish. YIKES – who has time to be in the kitchen for hours? I don’t and I’m sure you don’t either.
All through the year I’ll search Pinterest for recipes I would like to make during the Holiday Season. Then when the Holidays arrive, I’m so busy I don’t have time to even think about that kind of cooking. I need something quick and simple. My reality is in constant overwhelm.
Are you stretched to the point that you just want some quick and simple, yet festive, recipes?
Well, you’ve come to the right place, because that is exactly what I have for you this Holiday Season.
Some of these recipes are so quick you can rush in from work, throw it together, and be out the door in 30 minutes. That’s my normal way of living.

Brie Cheese is and ingredient in a few of these recipes and can be intimidating the first time you try to use it.
You may not be familiar with Brie and not sure how to work with it. The first time I purchased Brie I was clueless as to what to do with it. I didn’t know whether that white stuff was suppose to stay or go. Brie is a very soft cheese and getting that white stuff off was a challenge.
To save you the grief of being intimated by a round of cheese, I offer the following:
Brie is found in the Deli section of your grocery store and is a very soft rich tasting cheese. When you unwrap the cheese you will notice that there is a whitish rind on the cheese. Yes, you can eat the rind. The cream of the Brie cheese tends to attach itself to the rind and creates a thin layer between the rind and the cheese. Leave the rind on when serving the cheese on a tray with crackers or bread appetizers, remove the rind when you wish to melt the cheese; which you’ll want to do with these recipes.
I have found a simple way to take the rind off of Brie Cheese:
Wrap the round of cheese in plastic wrap
Place the cheese in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes
Take the cheese out of the freezer, unwrap and trim the rind off
Slice the cheese round into 1/4 inch thick strips
Cut the strips into cubes
